Sangina Baidya (Born: December 29, 1974 in Kathmandu, Bagmati, Nepal ) was the first Nepali player to qualify for Olympics, started playing taekwondo in 1991 and retired at the age of 34 with two South Asian Games (SAG) gold medals and a gold, a silver and a bronze in Asian Taekwondo Championship. Sangina would remain in taekwondo either as a coach or an official or a referee. Sangina Baidya was qualified for the Athens Olympics 2004
